The structure alone (a friendship told in reverse) already has me hooked, but it’s the exploration of power dynamics, class, and toxic intimacy that really hits. I love what Sarah said about poetry letting the “weird stuff” rise—such a liberating way to frame the creative process. Also deeply resonated with the challenge of shutting off the inner editor.
